Curtains for every Bundoora home
Sheer Curtains
Sheer curtains filter direct sun to keep rooms bright and open – just what large Craigieburn living areas need during the day. They filter light naturally and give a soft, finished look without closing the room down.
Blockout Curtains
East and west-facing bedrooms in Craigieburn get hit with direct sun at both ends of the day. Blockout curtains are the easy answer – total light control, better sleep and real privacy for the rooms that need it most.
Layered Curtains (Sheer + Blockout)
One track, two curtains. Sheers for the day, blockout for the night. It’s the most practical setup for Craigieburn’s family homes with busy, mixed-use rooms that need to work differently at different times of day.
Wave Fold & S-Fold Styles
The clean, flowing finish that suits the modern interiors Craigieburn homes are typically built with. Witht a neat, contemporary look that holds up well over time.
What Craigieburn Homes Are Actually Dealing With
Most homes at Craigieburn are less than ten years old but big windows, open blocks and no established shade create real problems from day one.
Craigieburn’s open, treeless blocks give west-facing rooms nowhere to hide from the afternoon sun. Without proper window coverings, living areas and bedrooms hold heat well into the evening. Blockout or thermal-lined curtains cut that heat load significantly.
Craigieburn homes today are built with big windows and open plan layouts. These are great for light, but brutal when the afternoon sun makes the TV unwatchable and the kitchen uncomfortably bright. Light-filtering curtains manage the glare without closing the room off.
Window coverings are on the homeowner from day one. Builders don’t include them. Most new Craigieburn residents move in with bare windows and plan to sort it later. We help you get it done before the first hot summer hits.
Properties sitting close to Craigieburn Road or the Hume Highway deal with steady traffic noise throughout the day. Thicker window curtain fabric with interlining also absorbs sound at the window, a practical improvement that really makes a difference in bedrooms and living rooms.
New estates in Craigieburn pack homes tightly, and in the early stages of a development, fencing is often incomplete. Ground floor rooms and street-facing bedrooms need privacy sorted quickly — sheers and privacy linings handle this without blocking out the light.
Newer developments around Bundoora and Kingsbury are often handed over with nothing on the windows. We get them dressed before the glare becomes your normal.
